Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen

When Elizabeth Bennet first meets eligible bachelor Fitzwilliam Darcy, she thinks him arrogant and conceited; he is indifferent to her good looks and lively mind. When she later discovers that Darcy has involved himself in the troubled relationship between his friend Bingley and her beloved sister Jane, she is determined to dislike him more than ever. In the sparkling comedy of manners that follows, Jane Austen shows the folly of judging by first impressions and superbly evokes the friendships, gossip and snobberies of provincial middle-class life. @ Goodreads

MY REVIEW:

https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/1254027584

Read from April 13 to 22, 2015

I mean there really isn't much I can say that hasn't already been said on this book. I love the book! I love the movie!

I watch the movie over and over. This is the first time reading the books as it was in my stacks. I loved reading a lot of the things that weren't added in the movie.

I picked this book version because my favorite movie is the one with Keira Knightly and Matthew MacFadyn in it. I know plenty love the other, but to each their own and this is what I love.

If you loved the movies, you will love the book!

Enjoy! 5 Stars
