First let me say I LOVE the cover of this book! It is so awesome!

I thought the book was great!

Sophie and Agatha are friends, but they are both so different. Sophie is all about being beautiful and Agatha could care less. Sophie wants nothing more than to be kidnapped by the School Master and taken to the school of Good and Evil, the good side of course. Agatha doesn't want anything to do with it or for Sophie to be taken either.

When a shadow pulls Sophie into the forest, Agatha is there holding on to her for dear life trying to keep her from going. Well.... they both get taken to the school but they are on the wrong sides. Sophie is supposed to be on the good side and Agatha on the evil side... or are they?

There is so many cool things going on in this book. It is a new and fun take on fairy tales and I love it. The way the author portrays the schools I wouldn't want to go to either one! :)

Those children that fail get turned into animals or other things and have to just live in the woods forever!!!! I thought that was cool too. Well, not cool for the kids, but I digress.

Through the whole book Agatha is trying to get them back to their homes. Sophie just wants to get into the right school. She wants her prince and nice pretty things.

I fell in love with Agatha, here character is sweet and I never saw any evil in her at all. She is someone I would want to have as a friend!

There is fighting, killing, warts, creatures, magic and many more things in this book. I look forward to the other two books in the trilogy!  4 Stars
