MY REVIEWS:

https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/1368553326                    3 STARS

I am actually sad about this book, it's the third book in the trilogy and it just wasn't as good as the first two.

I'm not really sure what went wrong for me on this book. I mean they escaped Earth and are on their way to Ceren. Aric is supposed to take his place as King and Jade is going to be the Queen. They have some bumps along the way having to try to train Aric in how to be a warrior and stopping at a planet when they see their distress beacon.

There were problems with Jade's baby, but they got that figured out when the baby did a sort of mind meld with Jade. So she gave birth to a healthy baby.

The book just seemed so distant, no pun intended.

There was no reaching the planet and celebrating or learning about the people/aliens. Aric and Jade didn't seem like the same people to me. It's hard to explain. I was hoping for them to get there, get married, have the baby, deal with all kinds of craziness while there but still be themselves.

The ending wasn't what I expected either. It ended as if a continuation but if this is the third in the trilogy then it didn't end that way.

In my opinion I feel like someone hurried the author to push this book out because she did such a wonderful job on the other two books and this didn't seem like her at all.

I still liked the book, just not as awesome as the first two so I'm going with a lower rate, which sucks :/
