I liked this book. Greta falls through a portal to make sure her little brother doesn't fall through and ends up in a world of goblins, sprites, faeries, etc. She lives with a man/sprite, Luke, who claims her as his daughter. In this land of Mylena, humans are not tolerated. They are hunted down and killed or taken to the demon Agramon.
But there is a goblin King named Isaac that invades Greta's dreams. He takes her to the human world where they talk and so forth. She thinks he doesn't know that she is human, as she hides her self as a bounty hunter sprite, but he knows. He seems to know everything. He is a very likable character though.
Some bad things happen and she ends up finding this little band of boys in the woods. They are humans that have been hiding together for different times, 3 years, 1 year etc. They have a little child with them that you just have to feel sorry for, his name is Jacob and he is only five.
Greta describes them as a cross between Lord of the Flies and Boyscouts of America!
OH and Greta has a bounty on her head because the creatures of Mylena found out she is a human some of her human friends and Isaac fight to make sure she is not killed. I won't go into that as I'm not adding any spoilers.
I hope to read the sequel at some point. 3 Stars
