In the small town of Shadyside, don’t stay up late, because horrible things can happen...

Both day and night, Lisa Brooks is plagued with nightmares and hallucinations. Could they be caused by the horrifying accident that landed her in the hospital for weeks? When Lisa finds out that a neighbor is looking for a babysitter for her little boy, Lisa jumps at the chance to keep busy and take her mind off of her troubling thoughts. But then the murders start -- and her friends begin dying one by one.

Read from March 10 to 12, 2015

I received a copy of this book for an honest review from NetGalley.

I used to read the Fear Street novels years ago and thought they were great!

Lisa takes a job babysitting Harry on Fear Street. Some of her friends tell her about Fear Street being haunted etc. But, after a horrible accident with her father she decided along with her counselor she needs to get out and do something.

She falls in love with Harry because he is just so precious. His mother, Brenda, needs her to watch him 3 nights a week while she works. During the day he gets home schooled right down the road at his aunt Alice's house.

Lisa keeps having nightmares and keeps seeing this half human, half monster in her dreams and for real in Harry's house. Or is it true? Her family, friends and therapist say these are just hallucinations due to trauma from the accident. Sometimes she believes them and other times she don't. A couple of people have been killed by a beast already so why not her beast?

The story is a cute little horror story, well, maybe not so cute if you are in it!

Lisa finds out the truth about the weird creature, the weird noises that come from the aunt Alice's basement, family ties, her therapist and wraps it all up on FaceTime so the cops and her mom will finally believe her! I thought that was awesome!

But then.... there is always an epilogue :) 4 Stars
